8mm Mauser is .324 so it s technically over the limit. I suppose if one can hunt in NJ with an 8mm Mauser they can shoot it at the WMA ranges.

- Centerfire Rifle includes all firearms listed above for muzzleloading and centerfire rifles for up to and including .30 caliber. This includes ammunition in the .30 caliber family such as .308 and 30-06.
It doesn’t say limited to .308 and 30-06 and being those are 7.82mm, I would consider 7.92mm to be in the same ‘family’. A 10th of a mm… close enough? 
Just bring along a micrometer with one of the arms having an inside edge shaved down 0.25mm so you can “prove” that your rounds are “.30 class”

Redeye+1 if the nephew can get his ass out of bed, bringing, hunting license and a box of clay pigeon, various shot guns and rifles. Bring some 44 mag if you would like to try the smith & Wesson lever, not much range ammo in my safe.
Isn’t .44 caliber larger than .30 caliber? I wouldnt shoot it there…

It’ll be brisk early but it will be a great day. I actually prefer to shoot trap on partly cloudy days. It makes tracking the targets easier.

Yes. There is a big sign (wma style) that marks the driveway of the range. However, don’t jump the gun when u see the bass river forest sign that looks similar. You will see it after the curve with the flashing arrows.

Unfortunetly not gonna make it. Really bummed as its always a great time and fun to meet up with so many forum members and shoot the shit and the clays… But we have a serious family member medical situation to tend too…
