Never saw this channel before. The video is actually spot on and accurate. If anyone really wants to understand why dogs react like they do, watch this video.
I trained my last pup, Sniper, a yellow Lab who looked just like the one in the video, in Level One Personal Protection. Understanding how he used his senses to āevaluateā a person and a situation was the most important part of the program, and teaching him what was a threat, and how to respond to it.
When we would be out and about, and he would put himself into defense mode, I always knew to trust his instincts, as he ALWAYS could sense a questionable person or situation.
Also, dogs pick up behavioral cues from their owners, an when you see a dog reactive to a situation, they usually picked up that cue (good or bad) from their owner.
Fairly new. They have some great videos on dog behavior with some comedy thrown in. Supposedly, their doing the same for cats in the near future.
Actually, I thought it was entertaining, besides the information being spot on and accurate in this video, using A.I. and the dogs to present it, was a great idea. I normally donāt watch longer videos, I prefer to read, as I read a lot faster, but Iām going to check out their other videos.
Interested to see if their other videos are accurate, as this one was great. In my experience, most people have no idea what their dogs are capable of learning and what they can do. Very few spend any time training or working with their dogs.
I spent an extensive amount of time working and training Sniper, as I really wanted to see what he was capable of learning and remembering. And he didnāt disappoint. he ended up being a working dog, with tons of capabilities.
Thatās what made it so devastating when I lost him to cancer, at 7 years old. We had just hit our stride and firing on all cylinders⦠and then I lost him⦠![]()
I watched a few of their other videos and they seem to be spot on. They definitely have done their research on dog behavior. My family has had quite a few amazing dogs over the years and it is a hardship when itās their time to go. We always considered them as family.
Family? My 120lb beast of a Black Lab rules the house. Heās got a head the size of a volleyball and his bark should scare the shit out of anyone. Now If i could just stop his tail from wagging.
LOL⦠Sometimes those tails can be considered a hidden weapon. My new dude, who is a Lab mix, has the longest tail Iāve seen on a dog. When he gets it whipping, it can break a kneecap.
Yeah, you canāt leave anything on the coffee table. Itās like a slap shot.
