Selling M1 Garand with 171rounds of 30.06. Most loose ammo are already in clips. All rounds are factory loads.
Barrel has been replaced with HRA barrel. Less than 50 rounds have been used since replacement. Asking $1900. Will pay for transfers. Located in Central Jersey.
Man, I would love to add a 4th M1 to my collection, But alas not at this juncture. Good luck!
Do you have a breakdown of the parts? Op rod, trigger group, etc and barrel TE ME
They should all be stock, only the barrel was replaced.
Asking $1900 for a six digit M1, people are going to want to know what op rod # (cut or uncut), trigger group housing #, hammer #, safety #, plunger with or without wings, narrow or wide base gas cylinder. Barrel measurements (throat erosion $ muzzle erosion), bolt #, etc.
If I do all of that, will you buy it?
He’s trying to help you. These specs are important to Garand buyers. Especially when the price is at the top end. The average price for a Garand is between $1,300 and $1,500, and you are asking about $500 over market price. It is not unreasonable for a buyer to want to know if any upgrades were done to justify the price.
Some WW II Garands go for well over $2,000.00 and close to $3,000.00, those are all original. While the receiver on yours is a mid 1942 DoM, nothing else on the rifle looks original.
I see, I’ll do a price drop if I don’t have to take time out to open it up.
It takes all of about 5 minutes to take out the trigger group, take off the stock, document the op rod, trigger group components and put it back together.
What is the price drop?
Great rifle that someday I would want to own

Attention all: I have uploaded pictures of the parts. I have very little free time so this took forever for me.
