I have a like-new Caldwell Claymore that I’m selling because I upgraded to an electric thrower. Bought earlier this year, it probably has two boxes of clays that I’ve put through it. These sell for $300 new and the bag is $45, but I’ll let this it go for less than half at $150, BUT shipping would be prohibitive, so I’m looking for a local pickup in Cherry Hill or I can meet somewhere mutually convenient. Do you cock it with the foot pedal? At 35 lbs I’m assuming it doesn’t need to be anchored?
There are a ton of videos on YouTube that show it in action, but yes, you cock with the large pedal and fire with the small pedal. There’s another mode called flurry where you cock it and it releases as soon as you take your foot off. That’s meant for fast targets and not solo use.
It doesn’t need to be anchored. The stance is wide enough that it stays put.
