Looking for a Marlin or Winchester lever action. Been making brass for a friend, now I need one, you know, for load development purposes.
Prolly find one on gunbroker but they come up from time to time on the Marlin forum. Folks sell em because they cant get ammo. 25-20 has very very limited runs and they sell out immediately.
A buddy has a 25-20 as his nightstand gun. He showed it to me, and I’m like dude, how old is this ammo. “Well, I loaded it in 1978” 
I tried for a long time to find factory new for him and just never caught it when it was available on those rare occasions.
Since I reload, was thinking about picking up an obsolete cartridge lever action. A big bro for my 39D 22lr.

With guns the age I’m looking for, I’d prefer to put hands and eyes on it before handing over money. Gunbroker, other sites will be last resort.
/\ not sure if it was this site or another but I’m pretty sure he had an older lever gun. Was a odd/unique caliber. Unsure which one exactly.
If you find one on Marlin Owners, you can buy with confidence, They do run a very tight ship there. Also, f you make 25-20 brass, you can prolly sell it there.
Winchester 1892 model in 25-20. Unfortunately I sold it a few years ago.
Look for a Marlin 1894cl.. I got one and love it..
I’m still looking for a Remington model 25 in .25-20. I have one in .32-20 and it’s a lot of fun to shoot.
