What ORI to use?

I have an acquaintance who wants to get his FPID card. His physical address is in Roxbury but his mailing address is Wharton.

Wharton PD told him he needs to use Roxbury’s ORI. He tried to contact Roxbury PD to be sure and they had him email the “firearms expert” but it’s been several days and he has not gotten a response.

His drivers license says Wharton.

Does anyone have any idea which is correct?

The physical address is where he needs to get the FID from. Mailing address is just for communications purposes. Like if you had a PO Box.

The ORI number for Roxbury residents is NJ0143600.

Thanks Nick, That is what I thought but wanted another opinion.

I used to live in Manchester Twp but my mailing address was Toms River. Everything went through Manchester PD (who absolutely suck when it comes to these things) including the ORI number.
