On the old forum we had a What Are You Drinking thread, I thought we had one here too. Oh well.
The reason I was looking for the old thread is because I made a great discovery. I am a social drinker and rarely drink alone. Tonight I had a hankering for some bourbon after dinner.
For desert, I paired a nice smooth and smokey bourbon with honeydew. It was really good. Honeydew and bourbon is a winning combination.
We’re just back from our daughter’s destination wedding in Ireland. Since Irish whiskey (the bottle from North Ireland used the ‘whisky’ spelling) is a favorite, I brought back bottles of two I liked. All ready for late summer sippin’ on the deck!
