They sunk alot of money into this place. Great location. Nothing really around the area. But from what i understand. The air filtration system was never attended to. Its up for grabs if anyone wants it. Whats your experiences there?
A bit ahead of you. Thankfully, I’ve got other options. I loved their place and hope to see it rise again!

If the TTC owes you money for any reason here are the steps to take:
1.) Print out this attached Proof of Claim form (official form 410)

2.) Snail mail your completed form to:

You will need to complete this form for membership payments made since the closure (12/23/25), membership balances that were paid in full. ALL gift certificates that you are still holding on to regardless of the date, deposits for firearms, deposits for events, etc.
Please include your gift certificate, or receipt showing your payment for all claims.

I got this in mail the other day:
“The TTC is currently closed as we’re going through ownership changes.
Look for notifications as to when we will be reopening.
If you have purchased or transferred a firearm, we will get back to you directly. We will also notify you regarding memberships and gift cards.
Thank you for your love and support over the past 10 years.
We will get back to you as soon as we can.
TTC Management”
My understanding is that they declared bankruptcy a few months ago - don’t know the details. I hope they re-open soon; really nice range and great instructors.

A tragic loss to the gun owners of Hunterdon County, the Flemington, NJ retail firearms, training and range business known as Tactical Training Center closed it’s doors a month ago and remains closed as of today. Rumors continue to swirl as FedEx attempts to deliver firearms purchased online and sent to this FFL (see window stickers of delivery attempts) for transfer. Dues-paying range members and gun owners that paid in advance for firearm classes are now told to fill out forms so they might be made whole. Firearms in for repair, on layaway or fully paid for and awaiting permit approvals are all in limbo. It’s a total mess!
The ongoing saga started when OSHA investigated lead contamination in 2024 and started fining the range operator for failure to properly clean the range periodically. Some range RSO’s tested very high lead levels and had to stop working. The landlord filed eviction papers for failure to pay rent and it all snowballed from there.
Two women’s shooting groups used to hold monthly Port Meet-Ups at TTC. Armed Women of America and A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League both called Tactical Training Center their “home range”. A Girl & A Gun Central Jersey Chapter Facilitator Rhiannon Teng had this to say when reached for comment:
“The closing of any range in this State is disheartening as the many women that like to shoot and exercise their Second Amendment rights now have one less location to do so. We hope to see them reopen soon.”

ALL NEW, USED, CONSIGNMENT AND TRANSFERS AT SKIP’S!

CNJFO sponsor Skip’s Outdoors, at 8 Risler St. in Stockton, NJ has been selected as the official point of transfer for all firearms (except for any repairs), at the former Tactical Training Center. Firearms bought outright, on layaway, ordered and paid-for or ordered and shipped to TTC awaiting purchase permit approvals are at Skip’s. If you bought a firearm online and had it shipped to TTC planning on having it transferred at Tactical Training Center in Flemington, NJ, it’s now at Skip’s Outdoor in Stockton, NJ (Hunterdon County). TTC ceased operations effective December 23, 2025. Please call Skip’s to make arrangements for pick-up! This update is brought to you as a community service!

Great traditional shop. I bought my son’s first bow there.
Anybody hear any updates on TTC in Flemington? Rumor had it that new owners were onboard, but I haven’t heard anything in a while.
