Trump Tariffs Poll

Did Armageddon come, or did I miss it? The Trump tariff experience was suppose to push us into a deep Depression? What happened? The DOW closed today quite a bit higher than it opened on the day this thread was made.

Did anyone listen to the media, and sell everything?

IMO the market was due for a correction. It was going to happen no matter who is President. What’s really important to me is the Trump tax cuts. My wife and I are still planning to retire in two years. Stay well diversified and you’ll be just fine.

What are you thinking now? DOW closed up over 1,100 points today based on positive moves in the tariff negotiations. DOW now back at levels higher than it was on Trump’s Tariff Day back on April 2nd.

Depression Averted…

I’m happy

Cool! I hope it continues ever upwards.

Notice how the MSM has gotten real quiet about Tariffs? Not a peep…

But the free Boeing plane… it’s the end of the world… again…

How are you feeling now, two months later? Market is way up from the day before the Depression was going to start.

Media Forced To Admit Trump’s Tariffs Are Working As Revenues Spike

The US has collected over $121 billion in revenues from tariffs on imported goods, and despite claims that tariffs are a “tax on the consumer”, prices on the shelf have not risen so far. Opponents of the policy are struggling to explain the data.

working great!

The dimwit Democrats told us the Trump Tariffs would crash the economy.
The stock market is up, grocery prices are down, gas prices are lower (I paid $2.55/gal for regular the other day in Georgetown)…

Well…we’re waiting!

I just came back from a 5 week RV trip to Yellowstone, where many days, I was filling up every day. I definitely noticed the lower gas prices along the way.

…"NBC News admits Gas prices are the BEST in four years — thanks to President Trump

In an unexpected turn of events, NBC News — typically a mouthpiece for the liberal establishment — has acknowledged that gas prices in the US are at their best in four years. And while they tried to avoid giving credit where it’s due, the reality is clear to every working American: President Donald Trump’s energy legacy is still paying dividends."…

Energy drives the economy. Low energy and gas prices mean it’s cheaper to produce and transport goods and services to the market.

What we really need are more nuclear plants and oil refineries.

In the mean time…Drill baby drill!!!

texan is right!

and I believe that Trump knows that too…he is working on it I can guarantee. The price of Diesel is what controls prices on almost everything. If the price of energy goes down we will all benefit.

Son of a beotch… what the hell am I going to do with these 4 tractor trailer loads of MREs I ordered, in preparation of the end of the world and a major Depression???

…“The U.S. economy grew at a much stronger-than-expected pace in the second quarter, powered by a turnaround in the trade balance and renewed consumer strength, the Commerce Department reported Wednesday.”…
