What’s funny is I realized today that my Trump AR “other” build has gold accents which is very fitting. I built the lower yesterday, it’s been a while since I built a lower so needless to say some springs flew around the house and 2 are now MIA.
I do want to add, I am not very happy with the SBA5 brace, it seems really sloppy. I like the SBA4 I have on my other build a lot better. Unless it’s the buffer tube I purchased that is making it seem loose.
I’ll swap it out on my other build with the SBA4 and see if it’s the same slop I’m feeling now. That’ll tell me if it’s the brace or the buffer tube. Thank you for the input!
Put a thin strip of velcro on the buffer tube that will tighten the brace right up. That’s what I do to take the rattle out of my stocks. I cut like a 3/16 wide strip about 2" long and place it at the end of the buffer tube. Use the fuzzy side of the velcro
