Stafford Forge Range Safety

Went to Stafford Forge today to sight in my .22lr Ruger America. I was set up on the lane farthest on the right closest to the shotgun range(for those of you who are familiar with it). I glanced over to my right and some dick head was pointing his shotgun right at me (probably about 50 yds away). I yell over to him and told him to point his gun down range and not at me. He seemed oblivious but he did point it in a safe direction.

I looked over again a few minutes later and the hand job was doing it again. I yelled over to him again and I guess he finally got the idea of basic range safety.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the first time something like this happened to me while shooting at a WMA range. I guess the problem with public rangers, they allow the public there.

Other than that it was a pretty good day.

I only go there during the week. Try and be set up by 830(50 minute drive). Afterwards go to Lucille’s for breakfast and or lunch.

I’ve seen some shady shit there. One time a few cops were there shooting handguns. Only know they were cops because they told me so when I told them they couldn’t shoot handguns there. Another time a guy was doing barrel rolls with a shotgun. Told him to stop. He did. In his defense he was the only one there. Lol
