Spring Clay Shoots

Just a heads up.

Spring is only weeks away. Provided we do not have a spring blizzard, we’re looking at 3/22 or 3/29 for Clinton and sometime after the Ides of April for a Stafford clays and high power rifle shoot.

By then, temps should be in the mid 50s to low 60s.

I have to work on the 22 so my vote would be the 29. Looking forward to smashing some clay, I have a thrower.

I vote for 3/29 as well.

I have a GPA match on 3/22 which I cannot miss. We had to cancel it the last 2 times due to weather.

CNJFO Pheasant Hunt was rescheduled to 3/29 so that’s out for me.

It is looking like 3/29 will be the date. I’m afraid to lock it in because that will all but ensure a blizzard.

I’ll hopefully be joining you. I say hopefully because I’m waiting for a minor foot injury to heal up and my doctor to give me the green light in a couple of weeks

You can come regardless. If the foot is still messed up, just hop around on the good one. Hey, you never know when you might need to shoot standing on one leg. It could be excellent practice.

I spent the winter putting this beast together. Hoping to get out to Stafford Forge or Assunpink to try it out. I can only make it weekdays, though.
