So who is going to be our choice for the GOP candidate for Gov

I watched it. Jack had an occasional stumble but he handled himself very well. Mikie just sounded like a recording machine repeating talking points and was generally non-committed and cryptic about damn near every question. I even watched the press questions afterwards and I though Sherill did worse there than she did during the debate (though I’m still wondering what was up with Jack and that Bergen Record reporter that was “in the penalty box”). I think the question is will Jack be able to keep up momentum or will Mikie learn from her poor performance.

She has no performance to rely on. She’s never led anything. She’s always been a follower, or just followed orders. Yet somehow, she thinks she can lead NJ.

At the end of the day the “D” voters will vote D, no matter what. Same with the R voters. There’s no critical thinking skills or logic left in the country. Most people are just drones, doing what they’re told to do.

Maybe, just maybe, the Indies in the middle MIGHT wake up…

A member of the Democratic Party, Sherrill was elected on November 6, 2018.[2][5] She was reelected in 2020 by a slightly narrower margin and reelected in 2022 and 2024 by wide margins after redistricting made the 11th more Democratic-leaning

She’s a carpetbagger, imported into NJ like Clinton moved to NY for a sure thing seat in the senate, teeing her up for a run at POTUS. Sherrill only has a fraction of the power clinton did, but she is using Hillary’s template for an eventual run for potus. The dems are scared, they redistricted to ensure she would win a seat. If they had not redistricted, she probably would have lost. So, now y’all know the lengths that the D party will go to maintain NJ as a Blue state, in spite of a majority of counties being red. And there ain’t jack shit you can do because they own the NJ Supreme Court too.

Mark my words. The closer they get to losing total control of NJ, the more desperate they will become. If you think they are the party of dirty tricks now, you ain’t seen nuth’n yet.

They won’t lose control even if Citarelli wins. People are leaving NJ but yet the population rises.

They win even if they lose.

This is from AI, pretty much says it all.

Yeah, but the Bill payers and people with money are leaving, and the bottom feeders are coming in. Who’s going to feed the graft?

The last paragraph states “international migrants coming in”.

Being a sanctuary state has consequences… Third World, here we come!

I think it’s funny that her parents must have wanted a boy, but out comes a girl, so the name Michael had to be changed to something a girl could use. Mikie, that is a pretty stupid name. But it probably matches her. No credentials, just another puppet the democraps want to install here. When my wife retires then we will leave this state. I have stayed here and fought these lousy Dems all my life, time for the next generation to decide what they want here.

My point exactly, we leave, they come in with more, it will never change.

I thought that too, yet here I am
Too much family here, she won’t leave

Is it possible, the sheep might be waking up??

Poll: Sherrill, Ciattarelli tied in New Jersey gubernatorial race

Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill and GOP former state Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli are tied in New Jersey’s gubernatorial race, according to a poll released Thursday.

The Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill poll found that both Sherrill and Ciattarelli received 43% from somewhat likely and very likely New Jersey voters, with a separate 11% saying they were undecided, The Hill reported.

“A stark gender divide also emerges among Garden State voters: women break for Sherrill by ten points, 46% to 36%, while men break for Ciattarelli by 12 points, 51% to 39%,” Kimball said. “Notably, women are over twice as likely to be undecided at 15% compared to 6% of men.”

It’s not so much that they are waking up, more like they can no longer ignore the folly of the D party because it is affecting their pocketbooks and safety in ways that can no longer be denied.

I wonder if (how) the CK assassination is affecting polling.

Unpossible. Just last week the polling determined that Sherrill was going to easily win and we should all just stay home.

I’m wondering the same thing, my guess, it will “wake up” more people to the evil of anyone with a “D” after their name.

LOL… Hillary, is that you??

Oh, my apologies, I must be confusing you with the OTHER Sniper:

I hope I don’t have to explain what the term “recent poll” means…

Actually, I just went to find the data and methodolgy of that Emerson poll, to see WHO they surveyed. I learned a long time ago, not to believe the headline numbers, until I check to see WHO they polled.

The results are interesting, normally these polls oversample Democrats, which they did again, and which leans the results their direction. Not this time:

Hmmmm, so was this recent poll an abnormality, or a BIG shift in direction?

Breaking: Mikie Sherrill was prohibited from walking with her class at the U.S. Naval Academy commencement ceremony in 1994 as a punishment connected to a cheating scandal that implicated about 130 midshipmen in her class.

Hmmm, it gets deeper…

Bombshell: Mikie Sherrill Was Barred From Her Naval Academy Graduation Over Cheating Scandal

And, just think, she did this on a $174K Congreescritter salary… Isn’t Capitalism great!!

…" Then there’s the issue of the massive amount of wealth Sherrill has accumulated during her time in Congress (she has represented New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District since 2019). According to one report, “In her 2019 financial disclosures, Sherrill reported assets totaling between $733,209 and $4,321,000. By 2024, those figures had ballooned to between $4,840,076 and $13,975,000.”

Democratic Congresswoman Sherrill Called Out by Fellow Democrat for Insider Trading

Trenton NJ, Steve Sweeney, Democratic candidate for Governor of New Jersey, is calling out Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill for violating federal law by not revealing her stock trading activity and for enriching herself at an astronomical rate while in Congress, an increase in asset value of at least 223% and possibly as high as 560%.

Congresswoman Sherrill was fined for violating the Congressional STOCK (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge) Act, which bars lawmakers from making stock trades based on non-public information and intelligence afforded to lawmakers as federally elected officeholders, and it requires that they and their family members disclose their trades. As a Member of Congress, she has access to sensitive intelligence briefings not available to the public.
