Grind that axe, Steve!
Wonder what the FOP feels about their pension and benefits?
Fined? How about some time.![]()
Oops⊠it gets deeper for Mikie. Her husband was also in trouble. Plus, she lied about WHY she didnât walk at graduation:
Folks in the know are throwing a BS flag at Mikie Sherrill for her claim that she was prevented from attending the ceremonies because she wouldnât rat out her friends.
...â Nobody, including Mikie Sherrill, was barred from graduation ceremonies for covering for their friends,â claimed this person, who has reviewed the documents. âThatâs a bunch of bullsâ. Midshipmen were, however, punished for lying to Naval investigators.â
Yeah. I guess she and now investment banker Jason Hedberg met each other at Annapolis.
And what is coming out about Sherrill in this report on her husbandâs trial and scandal tribulations makes her look so much sketchier, I donât know how she survives this unless Ciattarelli has an aunt buried in his basement.
Hedberg was also âcaught upâ in the massive cheating scandal that erupted around a master copy of an exam that had been seen by what appears to have been a majority of the class before it was given.
Anyway, letâs dig into this New York Post report. Hedberg and a couple of dozen others sued the government to block an Honor Board inquiry.
Unlike his now wife, for whatever reason, Hedberg was allowed to graduate with his class.
Looks like Shirrell is on the CCP payroll.
Report: Rep. Sherrill Took Thousands From CCP-Linked Exec
Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D-N.J., who is running for New Jersey governor in this yearâs race, is facing new scrutiny over major campaign contributions from a Chinese business leader with purported ties to the Chinese Communist Party, the Washington Examiner reported Monday.
According to the Examiner, Pin Ni, president of Wanxiang America, an arm of Chinese auto parts conglomerate Wanxiang Group, gave roughly $45,000 in combined donations benefiting Sherrillâs political career.
The outlet said Ni personally wrote a $30,000 check last February to One Giant Leap PAC, which backs Sherrillâs gubernatorial bid, and previously contributed about $14,500 to her congressional campaign committee between 2022 and 2024.

So, does that make her automatically qualified to be President, just like Biden?
I dunno. I am pretty discouraged by the lack of good ads for Jack. The main betting site has MS in a solid lead. I know a lot can change in a short time but time is running short. Anyone else have some good news to report?
Actually, just looking at current polls, it appears that her lead is shrinking, since the last time I posted the chart:
Thatâs good to see. FWIW, this is what I was referring to in my previous post:
Wow.. BIG difference between what Polymarket has, and recent polls. Not even close. Wonder which one is more accurate?
Good question. Jack did gain a couple points on Polymarket since yesterday. I didnât check it for the last NJ gov election so not sure. It seemed pretty accurate for the presidential election though.
That tracks. New information on Sherrill has come out in the past couple days. It wasnât good.
Given some of Murphyâs ties with China during his time at the Hong Kong office at Goldman Sachs, it makes her qualified to be Governor at least ![]()
Cracks in the Blue Wall: Sherrillâs Lead Narrows in New Jersey
Topline Breakdown
Sherrill: 48.1%
Ciattarelli: 45.8%
Other: 1.6%
Undecided: 4.5%
This is movement more so than drift. And itâs happening in a state where Democrats typically have the structural upper hand.
Party ID
- Democrats: Sherrill 86%, Ciattarelli 9% â Sherrill holds base
- Republicans: Ciattarelli 85%, Sherrill 8% â Base locked
- Independents: Ciattarelli 51%, Sherrill 38% â Ciattarelli +13
This is critical: Ciattarelli now leads independents by 13 points. Thatâs where the shift is coming from. That alone can flip a race under a certain turnout environment.
This does not account for the democrats polled that said they will vote for Shirrell but wont actually go to the polls. Voter enthusiasm among dems is low, no fire, no vote. Does not mean they will vote for Ciaterelli.
First she said she could not be n the grad ceremony because she wold not rat out a classmate. That might actually be admirable, if it were true. She walked back her story now to, she had the test, took the test, but was unaware it was a stolen test. I wish we had the BS meter from the old forum. It would go well here. In any case, her story keeps changing and I think old dog and blue dog dog dems have had it.
Democrats are finally waking up to the reality that political parties are not sports teams you root for because your dad rooted for them and his father rooted for them. Elections have consequences.
Axios âfree-subscription-walledâ article (you can use archive.is to view a copy):
https://www.axios.com/2025/10/04/democrats-worry-new-jersey-governors-race
Top Democrats are increasingly alarmed the party could lose the governorâs race in traditionally blue New Jersey next month because of a series of stumbles by the Democratic nominee, U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill.
Why it matters: Both parties are investing millions in the race between Sherrill, a former Navy pilot, and Republican Jack Ciattarelli, an ex-state lawmaker â and itâs getting national attention as a preview of the 2026 midterms.
- The prospect of a close election or even a loss in the Garden State has set off handwringing among Democrats.
- âSo much for the Dem resistance if we are struggling to even win a N.J. governorship while Trump has taken a wrecking ball to the government and Constitution,â said Democratic strategist Irene Lin, who isnât working on the race.
- âSherrill has spent a fortune on polling and has no message beyond she flies helicopters and Ciattarelli loves Trump,â Lin said. âHow have we not learned ⊠that tired anti-Trump attacks arenât enough?â
LOL⊠they donât call her âVanilla Harrisâ for nothing..
I saw this Axios article yesterday. The âpredictionsâ have been all over the map, so does anyone really know how close this race is?
Or, will Mikie just win⊠because she has a uterus, and âOrange Man Badâ?
I just went back and pulled what the polls were saying last time in 2021, when Phil and Jack went after it. The polls had Murphy up by almost 8 points, but he ended up winning by less than 3⊠so who knowsâŠ
If nobody believes, it absolutely will not happen, in fact, it can not happen. The more doubt is cast, the more it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
Have some faith, tell your friends to have some faith, and back it up by going to the polls and voting republican. NJ can absolutely go red if every single person in the state inclined to vote republican actually votes. I wonder how many elections were lost because conservatives and independents inclined to vote republican only believed they could not win and just made their own prediction come true by staying home.
