So who is going to be our choice for the GOP candidate for Gov

Just voted. There was a line, which is unusual in my very red small town. Had 8 people in front of me, it’s usually 1 or 2, if any.

Actually, from your link, look at the main headline. These Dems will do anything to keep Repubs from voting.

This is WHY Repubs need to embrace what the Dems do, and early vote, so your vote gets counted, instead of voting ON election day. How many Repub voters got turned away today, and didn’t cast a vote, because of these bomb threats???

Yikes! And not surprising… but yeah, as you said, vote early is the answer here.

NEW: Bomb Threats Received in SEVEN New Jersey Counties as People Vote in Heated Gubernatorial Race, Forcing Multiple Polling Site Closures – Trump Admin. Responds

A possible malicious act of election sabotage is underway in the competitive New Jersey Gubernatorial race.

As New Jersey 12 News reported, bomb threats at several polling locations have prompted closures and relocations as people vote in the competitive gubernatorial race between Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli.

Threats were sent by email to the following seven locations: Bergen County, Essex County, Mercer County, Middlesex County, Monmouth County, Ocean County, and Passaic County.

These threats emerge as polls show Ciattarelli slightly trailing </> Sherrill. The GOP businessman is counting on a huge GOP turnout today across the Garden State after Democrats easily won the early vote.

To put it simply, this will not help Ciattarelli’s chances of erasing the deficit and pulling off an electoral upset. Perhaps this was the intention of the threats.

From over on ARFCOM…

BREAKING NEWS: Bomb threats were reported at multiple polling places across New Jersey. All of the polling places are located in heavily-Republican districts.

If they’re willing to go this far they are definitely going to cheat

Joe LoPorto / NJFOS:

Some context for today’s that may be helpful for anyone closely watching the election.

  1. If you see voter turnout comparisons to 2021, remember 2021 was an artificially high voter turnout due to statewide VBM. In 2021, 2.6 million people voted in NJ, nearly 500,000 more than voted in 2017. Voter turnout will almost certainly be lower this year. Don’t buy the bs from the pundits.

  2. Procedures changed this year. All of the VBM ballots are being counted prior to election day this year and those totals will likely drop right after the polls close. There will be no middle-of-the-night dump of votes. What that means though is that, very likely, we will see a big lead for democrats at 8 PM or so right after the polls close. That lead will steadily narrow as precincts around the state start reporting.

This race is going to be close. Nearly 40% of Syndicate members reported that they are voting today, on election day.

No excuses today. If you chose not to bank your votes weeks ago, you must get to the polls today.

And in other news across the river, the NY Dems are up to their old tricks in the Mayor election. Look at the ballot.

New York allows fusion voting - that’s why you see candidates appearing more then once. NJ tried this but it didn’t pass.

Is that where you vote and listen to bad jazz? :upside_down_face:

Joe LoPorto / NJFOS:

I just received a personal call from Jack Ciattarelli’s campaign manager thanking NJFOS and all of our members for the incredible support this year.

The internal data is looking very good. We are so close. If you have already voted, flip over to your contact list and make sure your closest five friends have voted as well.

We need to turn out every vote we can in these closing hours.

We are inches away from taking our state and our rights back!!!

To our volunteers that have been making calls all day, you are making a huge difference.

I voted 7:00 this morning

Voted.

Where is everyone listening or watching returns this evening?

Oh, and someone canvassed the neighborhood early this afternoon and left door hangers - I repurposed mine:

I’m definitely open to better suggestions, but barring nothing else I’ll refresh this occasionally:
