So who is going to be our choice for the GOP candidate for Gov

Its been suggested that Ciattarelli might pick, Sen. Mike Testa as his AG. It would be amazing to have a, pro 2a and pretty conservative AG . One can hope and🙏

If they’re rolling out the Chocolate Messiah, the internal polling numbers must not look too good…

President Obama will campaign for the two fellow Democrats running for governor this year – Virginia’s Abigail Spanberger and New Jersey’s Mikie Sherrill – on the final weekend of their respective races.

Had a Jack volunteer knocking on doors in my neighborhood today. Not sure what to make of it. Getting kinda late to pick up the pace. Still not enough commercials if you ask me.

With the average attention span being virtually nothing, it makes sense to save it all up for a last minute blitz

Outsider looking in…

We’ve been here since Wednesday, and driving around South Jersey, I have seen quite a few ‘Jack’ signs. Many of them in places that typically leaned democrat when we lived here.

In contrast, I have NOT seen a single ‘Mikki’ sign. Not a damn one.

My read is that people aren’t that excited about her, at least in SNJ.

The online ads I’ve seen for Jack lay out his plan for New Jersey, and how they will improve the lives of the average New Jerseyian.

By the same token, the Mikki ads I’ve seen don’t really mention a plan for the state, mostly just how she will oppose the Trump administration. Just more TDS.

I think yall stand a solid chance of having Jack as your next governor.

I don’t think it’s means all that much without a GOP majority state legislature, but it’s certainly a step in the right direction for NJ.

Good luck guys!

As of right now, the average of all the polls have Vanilla Harris up by 4 points. It’s going to be close. Not sure if it will parallel last time, where Murphy was up close to 8 points, but only won by 3 points. If that 5 point pattern holds this time, since there are a lot of sleeper Repubs, it will be really close.

And that’s the REAL issue. Without a R state legislature, Jack can only be a speed bump for a short while.

Speed bumps save lives, but they don’t have a perfect record. You take what you can get.

The NJGOP has been fairly lackluster in our state which doesn’t help. I’m voting for Ciattarelli because, Sherrill is the same or worse as the current governor. I don’t believe Ciattarelli is the savior of NJ but, with a republican governor it opens up quite a few doors at the federal level for some accountability.

Still not enough TV ads and the ones that are playing are not nearly aggressive enough. I can’t believe he hasn’t clearly addressed the 10% sales tax BS. He should have nipped that as soon as it happened.

He had commercials going during the football game taking care of that. They were good, flipped the tables on her quite well.

New poll released today. Has Mikie up by only +1.

Topline

Sherrill, D 48%

Ciattarelli, R 47%

Who they polled:

Registered Party

Democrat 46%
Republican 37%
NP/Other 17%

Good to hear!

Good news, especially given the sampling percentages!

Huh…I wonder what Tom Lopach’s background is…oh, wait:

Lopach is a veteran Democratic political operative with over two decades of experience in fundraising, campaign management, and government affairs. His career highlights include:

  • 1996–1999: Field representative for U.S. Representative Pat Williams (D-MT) in Helena, Montana.

  • 1999–2007: Executive Director of the Committee for a Democratic Majority (a leadership PAC supporting Democratic candidates) and National Finance Director for U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA), where he helped grow the PAC’s fundraising from $465,000 in 1998 to $2 million by 2004.

  • 2007–2009: National Finance Director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC).

  • 2009: Vice President of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

  • 2010–2014: Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).

  • 2015–2016: Executive Director of the DSCC.

  • 2017: Brief role at the lobbying firm Subject Matter, representing clients like Facebook and Goldman Sachs.

  • 2018–2020: Chief of Staff to Montana Governor Steve Bullock (D-MT), later serving as a senior advisor on Bullock’s short-lived 2020 presidential campaign and as interim commissioner of the Montana Department of Labor and Industry.

LOL… yeah, it’s not too apparent, based on where he pulled his stats from…

After all the lies Vanilla Harris has spewed recently, should I be shocked her surrogates do the same thing?

Anyone see a trend in these recent polls? Can you spot the outlier? It must kill the NYT to report these numbers…

Note this data, from the most recent poll by Quantus Insights. They have Mikie up by 3 points… But, let’s look under the hood, to see what’s there:

They polled 6 percent more Females, and polled 10% more Democrats… To give Mikie a 3 point edge… So…
