So where do we go for florida print cards

Just got my renewal packet in the mail. Who do we go to to get prints done?

Gun For Hire

Is GFH good for non members

There is a place that does ink printing in Princeton. They charge $45 for card at least the ATF ones.

NJSP did it for me, free. Sheriff Office would have done it, but limited hours, I think they wanted appointment also. I called my local Barracks asked about it, they said sure. I asked for hours or if I needed appointment, they said 24/7/365 no appointment needed.

Yes, they do it on a specific day, so, call ahead

My local popo did it for me

If you happen to be down in Florida, you can go to your local tax collector’s office and get the whole thing done in about a half hour. Just did my renewal that way last month, and it was a breeze.

Please share as this is near me and a few other folks here.

Word of caution. My first application was kicked back by Florida because I was not printed at a cop shop. I got printed during a class at a Range. The guy that did the printing (I was told at least) was an off duty cop. There’s a spot on the card that asks for the location the prints were taken, he wrote the range’s address.

Florida sent it back to me. Overall they were cool about it, sent me a new blank card and told me I had to be printed at an actual police facility. It cost me time and shipping costs to send it back, but that’s all they did to me.

I was more annoyed I paid the cop for prints I couldn’t use. I believe it was about $20-$25. Yes, I called the guy that did the training and requested my money back. He said come to another class and he’d get me printed again. It was more convenient for me to just go to the NJSP.

I had my prints done at Mercer County Sheriff Department at the court house in Trenton. Officer I spoke to said just let him know when I wanted to stop by, no charge. The first set was not clear enough so I had to have another set done. Overall, it was a good experience and will use them again for renewal.

I also had my prints done at the Mercer County Sheriff. Guy was super cool and supported RTC.
