I am a TERRIBLE gunfather. I completely forgot about my 308 AR-10. Here I am daydreaming about the 30 rounders for the AR15s, a SA shotgun wth an external mag and pistol grip (they are coming), contemplating if I should even bother to un-pin my M4gery stock because it is just where I want it… and only just now, days later did I realize I probably need a couple 20 rounders for the 308. 
My brownell’s shopping cart is already at $700 and it’s only about 50% done.
I will end up having to do the hardest thing ever, spread out my purchases.
The only thing I hate about this is it will be a tax windfall for the state. the next 12 months will see a lot of previously banned stuff being bought. Lord help us if we get suppressors off the banned list.
Would it be inappropriate to ask for a raise based on cost of shooting. like a cost of living raise, for shooters, because unbanning s severely increasing the cost of living.

Go buy accessories and long guns in PA then.
Do the maximum possible eff you to NJ and physically purchase out of state.

I am still planning on buying locally whenever possible. Let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater. If we buy everything out of state or on-line, the LGS we have depended on will suffer the most.

As I’m researching magazine repair I came across something kinda interesting. milspec calls for magazines to withstand temps up to 250 degrees so they can be decontaminated in boiling water. I can’t say if others can take the heat, but Magpul PMAGs are good up to 250 deg.
coincidentally, most epoxies start to soften around 120 degrees and will completely break down at 212 deg.
If you have PMAGS or any other milspec mag, and the floor plate is epoxied, boil them in water for a bit and the floor plates will come off with a little prying. According to what I’ve read.

You’re probably better off. As much I usually like going 80% of the stuff there is overpriced to the point where not only can you find it cheaper online, you might actually find it for the same or cheaper in your local gun store. I go there to look for bulk ammo (still an occasional deal to be had) or an something real specific (like En-Bloc clips, USGI Repro slings, Fiber Optic Backup Sights). Only gun I ever bought there, ended up being from Tech OPs International.
Wonder if that would work with metal mags too 
don’t see why not, but since they are metal you can probably use a heat gun. Be wary of melting or warping plastic parts.
I have used a heat gun on the baseplates of FNX45 magazines with no negative affect
When I moved out of NJ, I unblocked my mags using acetone to dissolve the glue.
Worked perfectly.
