Sig P320 C with Romeo Question

Shot a friend’s, liked it. Bought new years ago, remember I sent it back for the recall, never shot it. Truthfully I put it away and forgot about it. So the question is, with all the safety talk about this gun, is it safe to use and possibly carry? Or should I part ways with it?

Even with the Recall it can still occur. I won’t carry one and I have a P320 Subcompact. Been relegated to range toy status.

Thanks

Mine is a range gun only now as well. It is only loaded when I am holding it and it is emptied/unloaded before I put it down again.

I’m sure it is a very small percentage that fire uncommanded, but it is not zero. I don’t trust it and I don’t trust the way Sig has been handling the issue.

Mine is relegated to a range gun as well. Too many other good options out there that I trust to carry a P320 loaded. Mine is probably fine, but I know that my Glocks don’t have this issue.

Thank you all, that’s the way I was leaning. Once the trust issue entered the mind it’s was over, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overthinking it.

Yep - Given that there’s a non-zero chance of mechanical failure causing a ND due to a combination of poor design/parts tolerance issues, it’s relegated to range gun/tinker gun status.

I’ll likely start playing around with different chassis etc like the Flux Raider - can drop it in and get another slide/barrel and play around with it.
