Is anyone coming up with a black powder substitute that shoots as well as the real stuff in a flintlock ??

Black Powder isn’t something people generally look at but I can ask around. I think Hogdon powder will be there not sure of any other brands.
Ruger Red Label 20 G but I’m sure it will be well out of my price point going by what they’re asking for the 12 G.
It’s on my list to look at for sure.

I am very interested in seeing what Ruger does with the Andersen plant. Will they continue making the same lower like the one’s I used for several projects, or will they just restamp the Andersens.
It also looks like they dropped the CHF barrel that made the AR556 such a good shooter.
