My wife was going to shop rite so i told her to pick one up. she clipped the coupon but still paid $5.99 still a great deal.
For dinner we had two steaks with sour cream and chives mash potato’s fresh broccoli and a salad. The steaks I cut from the roast were delicious. Probably going to get another roast before the sale is up tomorrow.
Browned the chine bone, laid it on a bed of big mushrooms and celery stalks.
Salt, pepper, sumac, and cinnamon, good splash of cream sherry, then long and slow covered tightly at 275 for just shy of 5 hours.
Defatted the juice and made mushroom gravy
With green beans and mashed Yukon gold potatoes

Be sure to peel the silver skin from the back of the ribs and trim out any bits of bone at the thick part first. Some of those sawed off bits of bone can be small and sharp - check it over well before cooking.
