Four Boxes Diner is a pretty good source for keeping up with national 2A court cases. In this video Mark talks about a Maryland AWB case that the Ds tried to delay with an extension. The host explains why the court’s decision was important.
The short version - SCOTUS denied Maryland’s request for a 30 day extension to their deadline to respond in their AWB case. That request may have been a gambit to try to delay a decision in the case into 2026. With the extension denial it’s very likely the case will be heard and decided in early 2025.
Good. I hope that SCOTUS smacks down Md (and other ban states). I think the precedence has been set already.
