In line with the other club threads - SCFGPA members check in!

I’ve been a member for less than a year. Have met good people so far and do enjoy the facilities.

Would be great to have an outdoor rifle range at some point - currently it’s an underground rifle range but overall no complaints.

An inexpensive rifle range is the Clinton WMA. You just need a hunting license or go with someone who has a hunting license. Any caliber up to .30 is allowed.

I used to be a member at SCFGPA, but we had a falling out. Nice range, but very restricted by their fear of law suits.

Interesting. I used to go to the Clinton WMA years ago and recall semi-auto rifles (aside from .22lr) was not allowed…

May have to renew my hunting license…

As long as someone in your party has a valid NJ hunting license you are good to go.

Good to know! Do they supply target stands or still need to bring our own?

I’ve wanted to join in the past, but it seems like they are never accepting members.

Get on their mailing list thru the website. They typically open up membership once a year and will notify via email when they do.

I’ve been a member for a few years now. Ya gotta get on the mailing list and wait for membership to open. Apparently they just sent out about 80 letters. If you’re retired this is a great club to visit during the weekdays.
