Saw this on Reddit and its available at Costco apparently. Online certain sizes are already sold out.
Saw it on Instagram too… taking the long way home from work to see if I can find one.
It’s Costo! I’m sure you need to get some water and paper goods for the home. What’s another line item?
Wife has a shopping list going for there… water, paper towels… and hell, I’ll get a $1.50 hot dog while I’m at it!
It’s not a Costco run if u don’t get that hot dog!
The chicken bake is up there too.
Sold out at Costco in Marlboro today. Hopefully they restock. It was just an empty showcase and didn’t feel like asking a salesperson to check. Gonna have the misses swing by earlier tomorrow to check again when she does her run.
I just ordered a small one 42" case. No charge for shipping
Yup back in stock online…Just checked too…

I have one of their Covert bags for my AUG.
Very well made, especially at the price point.
Just picked up a 42" bag at the Union Costco… looks like they just got a new pallet in.
Perfect size for my Mk12 clone so I finally have a decent soft rifle case.
Waiting for mine. ETA tomorrow in the mail. That’s nice of them.
Picked one up. Costco is also selling a SOG 3 pistol “range backpack” for $49.99 at the Ocean location, picked one of those up too (Yes, the screenshot below shows the online price at $54.99, but just double checked my receipt and it was $49.99 in store):
Their FDE color is more like Coyote Brown. It’s a lot darker but definitely well made.
Had to let it breathe after I unboxed it. It had this nasty chemical smell to it.
So, does a soft bag with “lockable zippers” pass muster in NJ as acceptable for securing a long gun in a vehicle for transportation purposes? Pretty sure I had read a while ago that it does, but in this state, it is always a good idea to confirm such things. Thanks.
Wrapped in gun cloth and tied passes muster. In a gun sock counts.
These zippered cases have become popular as a result of tactical cases but from like before 2000 most folks just had a sleve or a crappy plano hard case. Nobody is required to use pelican cases with four different locks.
As long as the gun(s) are “packaged” in some fashion, you are GTG. I’ve driven home with new rifles just in the box they came in.
Seems like YMMV. Just gotta keep on checking every time you head to Costco or just bite the bullet and order online.
It’s a nicely made rifle bag comparable to my Voodoo tactical double rifle bag.
