Running List Of Transfer Fees

I took ownership of my PSA Trump47 AR lower receiver today at Hackettstown Firearms and Storage. Last time I was there transfer and NICS as total $45 with tax. Today it was $66.95 with tax. Transfer is apparently now $50 as opposed to the $25ish last time I had something sent there. Can we start a new list of transfer fees like the old site? Maybe a Google Sheets? I’d be willing to help set something up.

EDIT: I’ve started one here NJ NICS Current Transfer Fees

As a side note, does anyone know what’s going on there? They had all the handgun cases closed, no modern rifles but a ton of old consignment looking long guns. Also most of the “accessory” section was bare.

Monmouth Arms - Rt 9 Marlboro NJ - $35 transfer + $15 NICS

Sayerville Sportsman - $50 Transfer +$15 NICS

WeShoot - Lakewood NJ - Met a seller there to purchase his shotgun because it was a convenient halfway point. It cost me close to $95 for the transfer + NICS + tax. We were both stunned.

If I come across the receipt I’ll post exactly what the transfer fee was, but it was somewhere close to $80, obviously. If only myself was involved I would have walked out, but I wasn’t going to make the seller suffer for my failure to research in advance.

Seems that if our rulers in the State of NJ are going to demand FFL transfers for every firearms purchase that they should be picking up the tab.

In the process of doing a transfer right now at Raritan River Consultants in Edison. $40 + $15/16 for the NICS. Itching right now because NJ NICS is on Sunday now

I have compiled a list of what has been posted thus far. I have left the Google Sheet open for all to edit. If needed I can make it so only certain people can edit if it gets to difficult to fix. Those that are familiar will know how to edit and keep the formatting anyway. I was also considering adding a column for Conceal Carry Training Fees for each location if available. Feel free to add, edit, etc as needed.

I’ll also add it to the original post. Any suggestions are welcome.

Also, I will use the gunbroker site to add what they have available over the next few days when I can. Others feel welcome to also lol
