President Trump expected at Daytona 500

Last weekend it was the Super Bowl, this weekend the Daytona 500. Will he go out and do a few laps again in The Beast?

It’s NASCAR’s turn to throw its version of the Super Bowl and the Daytona 500 is trying hard to match the hype. “The Great American Race” has Captain America coming, maybe even President Donald Trump.

Trump also came to the Daytona 500 in 2020 and is a week removed from becoming the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl.

Maybe ‘The Beast’ will be the pace car!!

LET’S GOOOO!!! I can’t wait for him to be at the race tomorrow!

Marine One arrives at Daytona International, so it looks like he’s definitely coming. Also, a NOTAM has been issues for Daytona airspace on Sunday afternoon, so that’s another confirmation.

Marine 1, the president’s official helicopter has landed at Daytona Beach International Airport and is being unloaded from the transport plane. Marine 1 and support vehicles are expected to be kept in a hanger across the runway from Daytona International Speedway and guarded by agents throughout the weekend.

Although NASCAR has not officially confirmed the visit, security personnel at the track are aware and making preparations. Additionally, multiple U.S. Secret Service advance team members were onsite Wednesday surveilling the property.

Air Force One does a few fly-by’s over the track before landing:

A few laps for the fans!
