If you go with anything using tubes, make sure you’re buying from a reputable source.
Just because it claims to be Gen3 doesnt guarantee its going to be quality.
This is a huge hit or miss market, so definitely do yoir due diligence.

I have been doing research for a long time. Its tough because its not like you can go to “The Night Vision Store” and check things out. Seems like its always a gamble. Thanks

I purchased my PVS-14 from Night Vision Devices in PA. It was a refurbished green phosphor unit that I got a great price on.
Keep in mind that you’ll need to budget other things into your night vision purchase like a helmet and mount in order to get hands free use out of your unit. And a laser for a rifle if you wish to use active aiming there. Pistols are relatively easy to shoot under NV as long as you have a NV compatible red dot.
Gee, if only we had someone here who is an expert on night vision. I wonder if @High_Exposure knows anyone ; )
