N.J. Permit to Carry Denial Over a Driving Record?

This guy already had a FID and pistol purchase permits but PCH denied due to driving record:

Sue the fuck out of the state.

I think he would be going after his town.

It mentions near the end that because he had an occupational need (armored car) he was able to apply and get that through the state police. Then when he was picking that up and mentioned to them he preferred it was unrestricted they told him to reapply. 16 days later they issued him the unrestricted

The “not in the interest of public safety and welfare” “standard” for denial is a subjective evaluation that is expressly disallowed by the Bruen decision.

A suit by those who’ve had any denial under that “standard” should have an easy case once it gets out of NJ courts.

While the state defends its misdeeds with the endless supply of your tax dollars.

And therein lies the biggest problem in this country. The ability to use the costs of the legal system as an offensive weapon. We NEED “Loser Pays” !!!

I’ve been a victim of legal extortion in a business deal. To quote my attorney “Just give them the $16k, If we take it to court you’ll win the war, but you’ll lose all your soldiers doing it” (meaning it would cost twice as much to fight an absolute win case)

Im sure they will argue he has no standing because he was able to take advantage of a double jeopardy system and some how won. . Go figure.
