Building a .308 AR.
What’s a good muzzle device for an 18” .308 upper with a stainless steel barrel (to be pinned/welded)?
18” barrel with a brake only needs to be pinned

Surefire brakes work well. The 5/8x24 ProComp is $89 on MidwayUSA right now

Whatever you get, make sure it is as loud and annoying as possible for people shooting to your left and right. Anything that does not knock stuff off your neighbors shooting bench is plain garbage.
The Lantac Dragon is always a crowd pleaser if you want to blow stuff off of the benches to your left and right and make people question the effectiveness of their ear pro
I have learned to play the game. 7 Rem Mag and 308 mag dumps usually do the trick.
