Meat Smokers

For those that do smoke meat, these any good?

The Ninja Flexflame looks interesting. Propane but can add wood pellets to add smoke. And has an adjustable temperature control that you can dial in for precise temperatures.

I don’t have any personal experience with either, but both are generally well liked. The biggest issue I’ve read about with the masterbuilt is the control board can be flaky, but at the price you can buy a fireboard as an upgrade. There is also a pretty strong aftermarket for upgrades with the masterbuilt.

fwiw, I spent years traveling down the path of trying to find the best smoker for a reasonable price (I’d love a Big Green Egg - but HELL NO $$). Bought and sold 5 or 6 before picking up the one I have now.
Weber Smokey Mountain 18.5 inch won by miles. I’m doing Q that can compete with anyone’s.
Did a turkey breast the day before, came out juicy smoky and amazing ! I’m going to go make a sammich right now.

Keep your eye open on FB Marketplace, be patient and you can get one for around $100

I have had my Big green egg for 15 yrs. It has been an amazing way to cook just about everything!
