MD non-resident

Just FYI, A few days ago I received notification that Jeff Harmon (Ironsightsacademy dot net) is conducting a Maryland non-resident permit training class in Shamong on Jan. 11 & 12 (as part of a NJ/NY/MD combined class offering that can be separated into individual state portions). Unfortunately, the notice came too late for me - my January was completely booked up by the time I received it my January was completely booked up. So I’m resigned to another year of locking up my handgun while going through MD when I travel to our Virginia retreat. Disappointing, but I’ll live. Maybe someone else here can take advantage of the class.

January i should be listed as an instructor for md non resident. Classes will be either at sjsc or swat firearms training in hammonton. We need a minimum of 12 people for someone to come to is to do fingerprinting. If not you have to drive to glen burnie md to do fingerprinting. Ill keep yall informed

Yes, please do! If you get a class together, I do want in. Thanks!

Following this post, would like to get my MD carry

For your situational awareness, Free State Gun Range in Middle River, MD offer the initial 16 hour class, fingerprints, and the range qualification. I recently completed my renewal permit, which consisted of 8 hours of classroom training and the range qualification. The current course costs are posted on their website.

To be honest, I wasn’t aware that the MD Wear and Carry class was offered in NJ until a few months ago.
