Question, the SC light rail killer is being charged with a federal crime of causing death on a mass transportation system. If the feds can control that couldnt they also say that states can’t deny citizens from carrying on mass transportation. Can the feds make a stipulation about accepting federal funds for mass transportation?
I would think they could. But we know the state would sue and some liberal judge would probably order the feds to pay anyway until SCOTUS intervenes.
