I think the gun I had the most fun with was a M110 SASS but that system costs like $20k which is absurd.
My favorite that I own is a piston AR that I built from parts. It just works.

My favorite is my FN 5-7. It’s the gun that got me into guns. Took me a long time to save up for it but it shoots like a dream.
Ruger 77/17 with laminate stock and stainless steel. Bought it over 20 years ago when looking for a 22 mag. Great gun and fun to shoot.
Favorite pistol - Glock 19
Favorite shotgun - Ithaca SxS 20ga
Favorite rifle - Ruger M77 30-06
These choices can change depending on season and which range I’m at. Lol.
Guess the favorite would be a Stoger Luger in 22lr. Silly finicky little gun but always a hoot to break out.
S&W model 3000. Owned it since 83’
My favorite firearm is the Smith & Wesson m9 2.0
My favorite firearm is my first built other because of the sentimental value, I built it so I feel more connected to it.
Not eligible…
My favorite rifle is my Henry .22 small game rifle, comes standard with a Skinner peep installed, action is like butter and a warm knife.
My favorite pistol, any 1911, .45 acp or 9mm.
Sig Sauer SP 2022. First handgun I ever bought and I still shoot it better than any one I own.
My favorite gun in my collection is one that I’ve never fired, which for those who know me, may be surprising.
In 1949, the US Army put out a request for a new, lightweight 1911 and Colt answered with a lightweight 9mm Commander. Then in June of 1950, the US began bombing North Korea in response to its invasion into South Korea. Around the same time, my grandfather was commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force and earned a spot flying the new F-84 Thunderjet. One of his issued tools was that new Colt 9mm pistol. He survived the war, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross in the process, with his 1911 strapped to his flight suit throughout his service. He returned to the US and left the military, and a few years ago passed away, leaving that exact 9mm 1911 to me.
My favorite handgun is S&W M+P 22
But my most favorite is my ARs 223.556 7.62x39, 300 BO, 50 Beowulf.
No revolvers no surplus rifles just ARs

Lots of cool firearms mentioned Shootability seems to be the overwhelming factor followed by sentimental reasons. My favorite is my Sig 226 X5 custom shop I inherited from my father when he passed:
My favorite for sentimental as well as shootability reasons.
Giveaway Feedback - Let me know if this was fun and if we should do it again or on any regular basis. Would everyone like something monthly or rather it be less often but a bigger prize? I thought about saving up for a range day somewhere but it’s tough to choose somewhere that benefits the most members. Since we are really just starting out with limited funds, giveaways seems easier and accessible even if you don’t reside in NJ. Once we have enough support I am hoping to be doing both giveaways and range days.
Completely did not expect that! Thank you so much! I plan on using it to my new AR build that will compliment my Glock 19 clone. I’ll keep you all updated and thank you!
