You no longer need to use a hammer and a punch to install the roll pin, They did away with the roll pin and now use three set screws to install. I installed one yesterday and it was a breeze, much better than worrying about breaking off a ear. jmho

That’s been that way on a lot of the polymer ones for a while. I installed a couple Magpuls and B5’s a couple years ago and they were using set screws then.
But yes, they’re great. No idea why anyone would deal with Mil-spec (outside of cloners) when these are an option. That said, the Magpul dust cover is a brilliant piece too without the stupid clip that always goes flying.
