I’ve seated hundreds of small rifle primers in 223/5.56 brass with no problems. Today I primed 100 308/7.62 and the large primers did not want to feed reliably. I had to keep messing with the tray to get them to feed, and only one or two at a time would make it into the feed tube at a time.

Is this normal for the Lee Auto Bench Primer tool??

I contacted Lee CS via their website yesterday and got a reply within two hours. That was pretty fast. After explaining the situation, Lee is sending me a new primer tray and large primer adapter.

So, we’ll see what happens.
