I don’t know about the timing, nor do I fully understand why SCOTUS is waiting for a court split, but this is the split SCOTUS was waiting for.

The 3rd circuit isn’t waiting on a circuit split. They were likely waiting on SCOTUS to rule in Wolford.

whats the NJ sensitive place case ? and the mag limit case ?, also not related but does anyone know where the hollow point ban case is?
Pretty sure the sensitive place one is this one in the title, Koons v Platkin, which I believe was consolidated with Siegel v Platkin. Not sure about the rest.

So, it seems, the only ones benefiting from these non stop legal filings, are the lawyers, who must be making boatloads of money.
