We’ll have readings of the Declaration of Independence at 4:45, 5:45, 6:45, and 7:45. Artillery Demos at 5 and 7, a concert from 8 - 9:15, and an amazing fireworks display beginning at 9:15. Come and celebrate at one of the pivotal sites of the Revolution!

Very cool. I used to live fairly close to there, and went to the Crossing Reenactment a number of times. Never got there on the 4th, as for 20 years I was working, shooting municipal fireworks shows around the state.
Retired to Idaho now, we usually watch the fireworks right from our deck, over Hayden Lake. No municipal show, but the country club does a small barge-fired show, and the local homes put on much larger individual shows. It’s really nuts, thousands of shells going up all around the lake. The local reservations are packed with firework stands, and they can sell much bigger stuff than one might expect.
This year, however, I’m braving the traffic and driving the few miles to downtown Coeur d’Alene, where they put on a much, much larger show over the lake. They expect 75,000 people, a lot for a smallish resort town, but this year the show includes a single, 24" shell, largest ever fired in the Northwest. It’s very rare for a show to have anything over 12". Those companies who have attempted to build a shell in the 20"+ range mostly have spectacular catastrophic failures on launch. The show program notes that the 24" attempt will be fired from it’s own barge, a bit farther out in the lake…
Going into work and sucking in all the heat 
Hopefully tonight I can get to the roof and watch them light off the fireworks in NYC. Later on in the week, if the weather is good I"m doing one of the tall ship tours they’ve got going on in the city (doing the Staten Island one).
We are just hanging around the house today. I’ll smoke some ribs this afternoon, and should get a nice view of the fireworks over lake Georgetown from our yard.
I tried to go to the range to get a little trigger time in, but they were closed. No pew pew for me today.
I spent the evening watching the fireworks in Bayfront Park in downtown Sarasota. They were going off literally right over my head.
