When you look at the multi-decade arc of this issue, you guys are getting your asses absolutely handed to you. I know it can get frustrating for the pro-Second Amendment side, what with the snail’s pace of the litigation system and a handful of states being totally captured by you, but let’s review:
In 1959, 60% of Americans supported a ban on handguns. Today, only 20% support such a ban, as even a majority of Democrats oppose it. Your endorsed Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, even had to pretend to be in favor of the right to own a handgun in the last election.
In the 1980s, less than ten states were shall-issue, most states did not issue at all (except to the rich and powerful), and only Vermont was constitutional carry. Today, thanks to both state-by-state gains and the Bruen ruling, an outright majority of states are constitutional carry, with the balance being shall-issue. You are left pathetically trying to undermine carry through ridiculous “sensitive places” laws, high fees, and long wait times in the small handful of states you control, but we will beat you there too.
“Assault weapon” bans are eroding in public support, with Gallup finding just a narrow 52% majority in support, down from 61% in 2019. As more and more people learn that “assault weapon” means common semiautomatic rifles, they are less likely to support these bans. Some polls even show support for such bans being weakest among young voters - the very group you insist is the strongest for gun control. Hopefully, SCOTUS decides this issue once and for all and hands you another big loss.
Suppressors are now legal in over 40 states, with the holdouts again being the few states your political allies fully control. But like with shall issue, we will eventually break through there too.
Nonviolent felon disarmament is not long for this world, with the Third Circuit creating a circuit split that the Supreme Court cannot ignore.
Those are just some examples. Progress is indeed a slow march, and I’m sure the hardcore blue states will still pass whatever you want, but the overton window is inching towards us more and more. The apex of gun control in the United States has passed, and the lie of the Second Amendment being a “collective” or “militia” right is defeated.

Really hoping SCOTUS grants cert to hear the Snopes (AWB) and Ocean State Tactical (Mag ban) cases. That would be the biggest win for us in NJ. Find out in a week or two!

Yup, Snopes is the test - that case should have everything SCOTUS needs to bring the hammer down. It’s not interlocutory (it doesn’t require SCOTUS to interrupt the normal succession of courts/appeals), it’s fully argued and briefed and it’s blatantly opposite the Bruen ruling.
If SCOTUS DOESN’T take this case (grant cert), we’re in trouble
