I don't NEED a Gen 6 Glock 19

…but I’ll probably pick one up when they start appearing in the wind.

The last thing I need is ANOTHER G19… but I’ll probably end up with one too.

Check out that beaver tail😎 The G19 is my favorite pistol in their lineup. Except for the Gen 5. It just felt clunky to me.

When I saw the promo on the gen 6 i thought it was AI generated images. So anyone else curious why the V series was even introduced and is that mitigation/change on the V also present in the gen 6?

Do they have a release date?

I was able to check one out at a gun shop last night.

Ill probably pick one up when my permits come in…

What is so special about Gen 6 that it deserves its own “gen”. Does glock just make so many refinements and then after some number declare a new gen, or is there a substantial difference between gens.

Yep- I accidentally bought one too.

HUGE improvements to ergonomics to be honest.

It fixed a LOT of the things that Glock haters didn’t like. I even had a Sig fanboy say that he wanted to buy one.

Never warmed up to glocks, just didn’t feel comfortable and the trigger was meh, handled a gen 6 and this one is on my list, much improved from any other I have handled.

The easiest way to fix the things that people don’t like about Glocks is to buy a CZ. :squinting_face_with_tongue:

“The Best Gen Glock Yet”

I heard that about every generation.

I’ve always said that a Gen5 wasn’t a big enough upgrade to sell a Gen4 to get it and a Gen4 isn’t a big enough upgrade to sell a Gen3. But, if you’re not already bought in, buy the latest generation because it is marginally better than its predecessors.

That said, I still have my Gen4’s and Gen5’s. But I’m a Glock guy. If you only have one, you can’t go wrong with a Gen5 or Gen6.

The aesthetics of Glock never did anything for me, yet I feel like I need to get one just to say I have one. Trying to convince myself the RXM will scratch that itch.

I’m currently down in Florida. I called 2 local gun shops and as soon as they come in they go right out. I check every Tuesday to see if one comes in. I hope to pick one up before I return to the People’s republic of NJ.

Shot it at SHOT Show range day - very comfortable. Grip is much better in the hand. Trigger’s a little bit better in that it won’t hotspot your finger with the trigger safety. Shoots a little softer than a stock Gen5. If I was in the market for a Glock, it would be Gen6 - probably would go with a G45 over 19 though.
