So I’ve been itching for a bolt action LR, I shot my brother in law’s DD .308 man what a amazing gun but I’m thinking something more cost effective.
SO I found this 1500 APC Chassis | 24" Barrel | 6.5 Creedmoor Cal does anyone have any experience with this?
I got a 6.5CM rifle almost a year ago. I got a Daniel Defense and can’t tell you anything about the Howa.
However, I came here to say that I have been incredibly impressed with the accuracy with Hornady ELD-M 140gr ammo - I was making reliable hits out to 1400 yards. The ELD-X 143gr seems just as accurate, but I haven’t had a chance to fire those over anything more than 100 yards, yet.
Yeah my bil’s DD is fn amazing, just out of my price range.. I’ll definitely note the Hornady for sure thanks man
