Does America need this gun?

Does America need this gun?
I’m not sure need is a thing in regards to this rifle but want definitely is. I was at Caso’s two weeks ago and they said they had gotten 13 of them in (5.56 and 300 Blackout) and sold them all the first day.
The bug hit me hard, and I love levers, I just don’t feel any love with this one. Range toy? Hunting rifle?
Instead of looking at this from a 21st century admirer of lever guns from the 19th century, I’m looking at it like this…
It is 1875 and I’m at my LGS, which in all probability was the local General store. There is an 1873 45-40 next to the HRA Supreme in 300BO, which one would I get.
From that perspective you would get the 45-70…
Since when can we have a can on any gun?
I think some of the videos we view in NJ, weren’t actually recorded in NJ, so not everything always applies. (I’m new around here though)
Some features worth noting:
Free floated barrel with demonstrable sub moa accuracy.
1:8 twist, can stabilize up to 77gr.
Tang safety, somehow has a decocker.
AR rotating bolt.
4# “match grade” trigger, adjustable +/- 1#.
Threaded bbl, can throw a flash suppressor on it.
I think this may be the best fully manual semi auto out there.
There is another interesting lever action offering from FightLite for the AR platform, a lever action lower that mates with any standard AR-15 upper.
There is also some speculation that the Supreme LASR will eventually be offered in 308/243/6.5CM/7mm-08.
Welcome Alpha_Kilo!
I don’t America needs this gun, but I think America wants this gun.
I love lever guns. I think we all do. No matter how much I shoot, my Henry .22 lever still makes me giggle.
And for the semi-casual gun owner it lets them use ammo and mags they already have. Sure beats buying a different load for a tube fed gun.
Interested in a 5.56 lever action but need optic mounting solution.
It’s drilled and tapped to mount a rail.
You’re NOT HELPING!
Nope i’ll stick with my standard AR configuration.
You’re NOT HELPING!
Sure would like to take a few shots with your new toy at the next Stafford meet-up.
