Henry Commits 100% of Its Operations to the State of Wisconsin

RICE LAKE, Wis. – March 18, 2025 – Henry is announcing a firm commitment to establishing 100% of its manufacturing operations in the state of Wisconsin. The commitment includes transferring all of its Bayonne, New Jersey manufacturing operations to its newly expanded state-of-the-art headquarters in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and two additional facilities in nearby Ladysmith, Wisconsin. The company is also closing on a third Ladysmith facility in mid-summer 2025. This strategic transition accommodates the need for increased production capacity and better supports the company’s future growth driven by innovative firearms design.

Welp, it’s the end of an era. I wonder if they’ll still have some workers in NJ?

Bummer… I loved supporting the last major gun manufacturer in the state.

Really surprised they remained in NJ as long as they did. NJ has highest taxes and anti 2nd amendment among other reasons it’s a horrible state.

Well this sucks. Other than some smaller manufacturers, like Modern Materiel, this will pretty much be the last big firearm manufacturer in NJ. I know they started out in Brooklyn and moved here, so the family running it had roots in the area and that’s probably why they stayed as long as they did. Now I’ll have to get a Bayonne gun while I can.

I can’t say I blame them. Good people. I wish them luck.
