When I rescued my new dude a few months ago, I never knew I’d get a super hero or a Super Dog… LOL..
And… as a added bonus, he’s a great hunter, too!!!

I was wondering if you guys do your own grooming? Paying $115 beans for a mediocre job every month for a big dog was ridiculous.
I’ve been lucky. My past few dogs were Labrador Retrievers, so they didn’t require grooming, just an occassional bath. But they shed like crazy, and I was vacuuming and brushing, like every other day or so.
This new dude, Atlas, is mostly Lab, with Boxer and Austrailian Cattle Dog, mixed in. So he has really thin fur, that doesn’t need grooming, and he hardly even sheds. Then, when he gets wet in the rain, a quick toweling, and he’s good to go.

This is Electra - usually just called Ella. She is a Czech import German Shepherd Dog, almost 7 years old and mother to numerous working police K9s. She earned IGP3 and is just awesome.
