This was interesting and he shows the serial #s in the log. M14s still being issued in the 80s?

I just did a quick search, some info states the M14 is still issued on Navy Ships.

They use it as a line thrower to other ships for resupply and replenishment.

That’s cool! I’m surprised they haven’t modernized or replaced this with something else if all they are using it for is tossing a line.
