Down south, Sportsman’s Warehouse in Twin Falls is pretty epic. Up north where I live, Black Sheep and Idaho Guns are both amazing. I’m sure the Boise area has good options, but I’ve not lived in that part of the state.
Found it. It’s the North Idaho Location of Idaho Guns and Outdoors. And it is amazing, as I noted above. It’s about 30 minutes away and near the entrance to the many wonders of Farragut state park, I’ve spent a lot of time there, AND helped their bottom line. When I was looking for an SA XD-M in 10mm (the high cap 10’s are very popular here, grizzly range starts about an hour to our north), no one in north Idaho had one except for Idaho Guns, and they were still selling them below MSRP. They even gave me a much better than expected trade on a S&W 915 I’d bought years ago, before immediately realizing I HATE HATE HATE DA/SA guns. Trigger pull should be exactly the same every time. But I digress.
Anyway, it’s an exceptionally cool store.
Update: I love the first comment under the video: ‘I live in California. The Target store here has to lock up the detergent and deodorant.’
