Have never used GB before, looking to purchase a .22mag at a nice price off of there. My question, if I have a preferred FFL loaded into my account do I still need to have the FFL email the seller with their information?
Depends if the preferred FFL you chose has their paperwork loaded in GB then you are good…. If not you may need to contact them and have it sent
I have never used gun broker but I know several collectors that do. Based on their postings, it s best to contact both FFLs yourself, and verify everything. If it is a private seller, some FFLs will not accept firearms from anyone other than an FFL. Even f it s FFL to FFL, make sure everyone is on the same page
Gunbroker will notify the receiving FFL of the purchase and send a copy of the FFL license to the seller. It will list the purchasers name and contact information in case you can’t accept the transfer.
GB will only send a copy of the FFL to the selling dealer if the receiving dealer has it on file with GB.
