Got Bread, Eggs and Milk..... and Beer?

Do you need a plow guy? I might know one!

A little bit of pre-planning. Talk of multiple snow storms over the next two weeks, starting tomorrow. Better go make your run for eggs, bread and milk now, and beat the rush!

These two maps are projections for TOTAL snowfall the next two weeks. Those of you in Texas, can disregard…

Yeahhhhhhhh….its 79° in central Texas at the moment.

Quite lovely out!

Looks like we might get snow after all. Fired up the snowblower and topped off the gas tank.

Looks like we’re in the 4 - 5 inch range, if they don’t blow this prediction, like all the others:

You know what that means, right? We won’t get any… I’m waiting until tomorrow to pull mine out of the shed, to see how the forecast changes.

For that little snow, I’ll use my backpack blower

Not for wet snow

Yep. and this storm temps looks to be right around the freezing mark, so it will be nice, wet and heavy, before it changes to rain.

Looks like the chart and predictions will hold. I pulled my snowblower out of the shed, and got it ready…

That means we’ll just get a dusting… LOL

We got about 3-4” I do my entire block all four sides so I don’t have to walk on ice when walking my dog…

I kinda was right. When I went to bed, we had like 4 inches. In the morning it turned to slush, as it changed to rain overnight. The snowblower is useless on all that wet slush, so I had to do it by hand… :grimacing:

Forecast was 1-3 inches by me. It changed sometime yesterday afternoon to “around an inch”. We ended up getting slightly more than a dusting.

I didn’t even bother shoveling. It mostly melted off the driveway and sidewalks by noon. Tomorrow it’s supposed to hit mid to high 40s and rain. So it will be all cleaned up by then.

Get ready, it’s coming… never mind, false hysteria. The big storm they were warning about mid week isn’t coming here… you’re safe!!

But not for Virginia…

It was freaking cold today.

I agree. I went out for my normal walk today, but with the wind and wind chills in the teens, it forced me to cut down the total distance. I HATE this cold!
