would love to see business owners in NJ start charging a “party” tax on customers. customer must prove that they are not democrats and did not vote for the communists. once proof is established customer gets to purchase item or service with current taxes. if your a commie you get the “party fee” added to your purchase or service, should not be any legal issues with this as it should be no different than that same business offering a veteran discount or first responder discount. Party fee can be on a floating scale for each business same as gas tax. example if the business incurs additional taxes from state or local govt they can adjust “fee” to negate the commie taxes.

Instead of letting the COL drop for the consumer, the government tax office all but ensures you STILL pay the same price per gallon (in taxes) to make up for lost revenue, due to their wishes of less gas being used.
So, they want people to use less fossil fuels, but they do not want to let the easy money go. NJ used to have the lowest gas prices in the nation. If gas was $1.00/gal tomorrow, NJ would hike the tax $2.00 to keep it at $3.00(ish)
