Forum T-Shirts & Hats

I’ve got a couple requests to do another t-shirt order. I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the quality of the shirts on the first run and will look for something better this go around. The first run was the cheapest shirt possible so expect it will be a few $s more per shirt this round. Also looking to add a baseball caps.

Let me know if you have any recommendations for design changes on the shirt or different shirt colors and also for the hat (colors, logo location.)

Poll: To get an idea on quantity (and pricing) let me know on the poll. If ordering quantity (more than 1 item) reply below or sent me a PM with that quantity, thanks!

There will be 2 different group orders since I can’t seem to get baseball hats and t-shirts on the same order. Support says because it’s different ‘designs’ :man_shrugging:

Here’s a draft example on the hats:

These are supposed to be embroidered. Estimated price for the current interest is ~$30ea +tax & shipping (the shipping fee kinda sucks.)

Let me know if any issue with the design. I have the logo and text maxed out in size in the available printing areas. Started with this Charcoal color and have Khaki and Spruce Green options. You can see the color options here if you want me to add something else: https://www.customink.com/products/hats/baseball-hats/adams-pigment-dyed-hat-embroidered/266500?PK=266503

T-shirt design is about the same:

This is hopefully a better quality shirt (Hanes Beefy-T Crewneck T-Shirt) the color is Fatigue Green. Let me know what colors to add, see what’s available here: https://www.customink.com/products/t-shirts/short-sleeve-t-shirts/hanes-beefy-t-crewneck-t-shirt/1100?PK=1148&bg

Pricing with current interest is ~$21ea +tax and shipping.

Also let me know if you want any long-sleeved or sweatshirts (and the color.) Long-sleeve t-shirts are not much more but expect sweatshirts to be around ~$35ea +tax/ship.

I’m ok with the design, but would prefer other color choices - could we also get [edit]Navy?

Sure! Hat, shirt or both?

Hat. For me, light-colored hats look filthy after a while, because I’m a greasy bastard.

Here are the options so far, let me know if you’d like anything different:

I’d be in for a hat and a shirt or two.

I’m counting 1 vote as 1 item and asking everyone to let me know in the replies here if you plan on ordering multiple items. The more we commit to, the cheaper price per item.

I’ll give it through the weekend and will setup the ordering next week. Ordering will be open 7-10 days.

Yeah I wore my shirt for the third time ever today and the collar is already starting to separate. It normally takes me a couple of years of use to do that. Hopefully these are better. Thanks for trying to improve things.

Which color? My green and grey seem to be holding up but that sand color was like paper thin. I’ve not experienced what you mentioned but I’m not surprised. Figured going with a brand name and named ‘beefy’ was a good way to go.

My Grey is holding up fine. Wore about five times.

It’s the green one and here’s what I’m talking about

Time to brush up on your sewing skills.

That’s an odd hole. Moths? Rocks in your washer? I dunno so I make stuff up

Worn mine at least a dozen times is holding up fine, for now. I’m sure it will fall apart in the washer now that I said something.

I’ve had that on other shirts but it’s taken me years to do that. First time i wore it some of the threads were starting to come off.

I didn’t know there was a ‘battle worn’ option :winking_face_with_tongue: That was our first go with this stuff and it was the cheapest option so I’m not surprised. But what do I know? Thought a t-shirt was a t-shirt and didn’t realize they make the cheap one with tissue paper.

Hoping for better results this time.

Well it normally is a good brand. They do make counterfeits of brand names so they might have just been taken in. We’ll know for sure with the next batch

The previous brand was ‘Gilden’ (never heard of them) and the base cost for the shirt was 30% less and was the cheapest possible option. My fingers are crossed I made a better choice with Hanes and still keeping the final cost reasonable.

I’ve heard of Gilden and its typically a reputable brand.
