Former members here?

I was very active on the old NJGUNFORUMS. Hope to be more active here going forward. It is nice to see some familiar names here. I am curious if either Mrs Peel or High Exposure are active on this new site. I had very much valued their participation in the past.

Both @Mrs.Peel and @High_Exposure are members. High_Exposure has been active :+1:, Mrs.Peel not so much .

Hey Art! Good to see you here!

Thank you. Good to see you as well! Are you still in Atlantic Highlands? (Assuming I recalled correctly.) North Middletown here.

Yessir. Still just down the road from you.

I just found this yesterday. Great to see some old names. Missed this place.

Brisco!

How you been?

Living the dream :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: . OK getting buy, still on this side of the grass. Don’t know if you remember when we spoke of bourbon. You recommended Eagle Rare. Took me a year to come across it, but it is my favorite.

You are back in Texas if I remember right?

Glad you liked it! It is my favorite.

I moved back to Texas 5 years ago, but hang out here to keep in touch with friends I’ve made along the way.

Glad to see you here!

Speaking of Eagle Rare… any recent local sightings? So hard to find…

It’s been popping up more frequently here. My local liquor store used to not be able to get it, now they have several bottles on the shelf.

I’m here, Dumped by Maxim and AR15.com as well.

@brisco Welcone back!

I’ve seen Eagle Rare on the shelves more regularly lately. The “bourbon craze” seems to be slowung down finally. Check your Shoprites, Wegmans, etc that sell alcohol. I think Brick Costco sells liquor inside the store (not like most that have a non-Costco liquor store at entrance). I believe Costco has been known to have it.

Have you tried Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Old Forester 1910 or 1920, Old Forester Double Oaked, Four Roses Single Barrel? Just a few commonly found bourbons that are very good and reasonably priced.

I’ve had the Old Forester 1920. My collection is running low so will look for those.

My typical collection is Buffalo Trace, Angel’s Envy, Eagle Rare (when I can find it), & Stapleton Blended Whiskey. Sometimes I’ll get High West or Basil Hayden too.

Basil Hayden FTW!

Glad to see you here Tom.
I miss the old days of Arfcom blasts with all the interesting toys that showed up on the line!

Basil Hayden makes me sneeze for some reason. It’s kind of peppery to my taste buds.

Drink more and it will go away. :face_with_tongue:

@Brisco If you are near that, they have plenty of Eagle Rare. From NJ Bourbon group I’m in. From a few hours ago.
